The Amis Canadiens du Centre Medical Sheba / Canadian Friends of Sheba Medical Center (formerly known as Canadian Friends of Hospital Tel Hashomer) is an organization that was created almost 35 years ago by a group of compassionate and visionary Canadians. Its aim was and remains very simple – help the Sheba Medical Center achieve its many and important goals.

As Israel's leading hospital, the Sheba Medical Center is recognized nationally and internationally for its excellence in healthcare and medical research. It is the largest and most comprehensive medical center in the Middle East and attracts patients, medical staff, researchers, students, donors and investors from around the world.

As caring friends of the Center, our fundraising objectives and activities are generally focused on providing medical equipment for use at the Sheba Medical Center. But we also raise funds for research programs for the medical staff at the Center.
